Sant Jordi inspired by Jean Cocteau

Sant Jordi is one of our favorite day of the year. Enjoy the city and the festive atmosphere walking the streets full of roses and books … is without any doubt, our Love day!

In love with your partner or in love with culture, it does not matter! Surely some rose or book will received.

This year is even more special because Sant Jordi is on Sunday and many of you will enjoy it like never before.

To us it is a key moment because we are immersed in the world of the artist Jean Cocteau, thanks to the Medwinds new collection. We will find the illustrations with which he decorated the Villa Santo Suspiro, in Cap Ferrat, also known as “Villa Tatoo”.

The man’s and woman’s collection is inspired by French Riviera summers. Volatile lines and vaporous fabrics with intense colors.

For her, refined viscose dresses with ruffled sleeves. Maxi pants combined with narrow blazer and wide shirts

For him, high-cut wide pants, long shirts and jackets that remind us the old sailors suit.

Pieces always conceived in natural materials: like cotton, linen and viscose. The intention is to recreate the style of the fifties and a reminiscence of the french culture.

The fish-shaped eye, which Jean Cocteau drew on the walls of the house, becomes the protagonist of American fabrics, suits and shirts.

For this season the accessories acquire great protagonism: Espadrilles and bicolour blucher.

As you can see, Sant Jordi is surrounded by art!

So this Sunday when you go out for a walk, come to visit us, we will be waiting for you.

You will fall in love!

Happy Sant Jordi!
